At Vander Haag’s LLC, we are committed to customer satisfaction and transparency. This Returns & Refunds Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which returns and refunds may be accepted. By purchasing products from Vander Haag’s LLC, you agree to the policy outlined below.

Due to the nature of commercial trucks, trailers, containers, heavy equipment, specialty products, and related inventory, certain sales may be considered final unless otherwise stated in writing.

However, Vander Haag’s LLC may accept returns and provide refunds under specific circumstances as described in this policy.

Customers are encouraged to carefully review product descriptions, specifications, photographs, condition reports, compatibility requirements, and delivery details prior to placing an order.

Our team is available to answer questions before purchase to help ensure the product meets your needs.

2. Eligibility for Returns

Returns may be requested within thirty (30) calendar days of delivery, subject to the following conditions:

  • The product must be returned in substantially the same condition as delivered.
  • The product must not have been altered, modified, damaged, or disassembled after delivery.
  • The product must be accessible for inspection and return transportation.
  • Proof of purchase is required.
  • The product must not be classified as non-returnable under this policy.

Products approved for return may be subject to inspection before refund approval.

3. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are generally not eligible for return:

  • Custom-built products
  • Special-order products
  • Modified products
  • Electrical or electronic components installed after delivery
  • Products sold “As-Is”
  • Products damaged due to misuse, neglect, accidents, improper installation, or improper operation
  • Products returned outside the thirty (30) day return period

4. Return Authorization Process

All returns must receive written authorization from Vander Haag’s LLC prior to shipment or pickup.

Unauthorized returns may be refused.

5. Return Shipping & Associated Costs

Unless the return results from our error, verified shipping damage, or a confirmed product defect:

  • Customers are responsible for return transportation costs.
  • Original delivery charges are non-refundable.
  • Freight, loading, unloading, storage, and handling fees may be deducted from any approved refund.
  • Damage occurring during return transportation may reduce or void refund eligibility.

6. Refund Processing

Once a returned product has been received and inspected, Vander Haag’s LLC will determine whether the return qualifies for a refund.

If approved:

  • Refunds will generally be issued using the original payment method whenever possible.
  • Approved refunds are typically processed within fourteen (14) to twenty-one (21) business days.
  • Processing times may vary depending on the customer’s financial institution.

7. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Products

Customers should inspect products immediately upon delivery.

If a shipment arrives damaged, defective, incomplete, or incorrect, customers must notify Vander Haag’s LLC within seven (7) calendar days of delivery.

Please provide:

  • Order number
  • Delivery date
  • Detailed description of the issue
  • Photographs clearly showing the concern
  • Any supporting documentation available

If the issue is verified, Vander Haag’s LLC may offer one or more of the following remedies:

  • Replacement product (subject to availability)
  • Repair assistance
  • Store credit
  • Partial refund
  • Full refund where appropriate

Failure to report qualifying issues within seven (7) days may affect eligibility for refund, replacement, or other corrective action.

8. Order Cancellations

Orders may be canceled prior to shipment or delivery scheduling, subject to product status and order preparation.

Once an order has entered shipment preparation, freight scheduling, customization, dispatch, or transit, cancellation may no longer be possible.
